1.3.1403.1202 - Release notes:
The latest XSplit Broadcaster version 1.3.1403.1202 is highly recommended to replace any older version. In the prior version 1.3.1402.2003, a critical issue was found in relation to freezes on scene switching. This and additional issues have been resolved in 1.3.1403.1202.
With every new release we do our best to bring value to the table, both in terms of bug fixes and inclusion of features requested by the community and partners. We aim to ship every release faster and more stable while including new features without introducing more complexity.

Known limitations:
For a list of bugs being worked on see Known Issues section. For other general known limitations see list below.
- The XSplit Program Group is also used by XSplit Gamecaster 1.5. If you have any earlier version than XSplit Broadcaster 1.3.1401.0901 (released Jan 9, 2014) installed then un-installing such earlier version will remove the XSplit Program Group. To prevent this issue users of XSplit Broadcaster who plan to install XSplit Gamecaster is advised to update to the latest version of XSplit Broadcaster 1.3.1403.1202 BEFORE installing XSplit Gamecaster.
- XSplit Broadcaster may crash if other similar applications that capture games are running at the same time (i.e.: Action and FRAPS)
- XSplit Broadcaster is incompatible with some games using GameGuard for anti-cheat protection, hereunder Hero of Obelisk and RF online. We are in contact with INCA Internet (developers of GameGuard) and expect the issue to be resolved shortly without changes to XSplit Broadcaster.
- On 32 bit Windows systems XSplit Broadcaster cannot capture some chinese version of Tencent published games (herunder Chinese version Tencent published LoL)
- In DX 11 Games (for example Wow DX 11 and Assassins Creed 3), XSplit Broadcaster cannot capture when Fraps is running. Uplay and Steam overlay experience the same problem since Fraps in DX11 prevents any other hooks.
- XSplit Broadcaster cannot capture games that has been hooked by MSI Afterburner. This only happens if MSI Afterburner/Riva is set to use (OSD On Screen Display) and starts up before XSplit. (Workaround 1: Turn off OSD in MSI Afterburner/Rivatuner and restart game, XSplit and MSI Afterburner) (Workaround 2: You may be able to keep the OSD on if you set the default "Application detection level" to low in the RivaTuner properties)
- XSplit Broadcaster does not allow to be run in high performance mode on laptops using ATI Enduro switchable graphics (most modern laptops with AMD graphics card). We have had to exclude high performance mode (execution on the discrete GPU) due to a bug in AMD enduro driver. We are working with AMD for a resolution of the issue. No current ETA on a driver update to solve this issue.
- Optimization on OpenGL game capture for ATI desktop GPUs is disabled per default.(Function is currently unstable with latest AMD drivers)
- Garena may be hooking the D3D functions of XSplit Broadcaster causing XSplit Broadcaster to crash when Garena Messenger is closed. After verification, we will work with Garena to resolve this issue as soon as possible.
